Let’s talk about the 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘦𝘴 of kitchen design: surfaces and lighting.

No, really—before you start dreaming of archways or terrazzo floors, let’s get grounded. Literally.

In this project, we chose a seamless stone-look worktop and backsplash in matching tones.

Why?

Because continuity calms the eye. It creates visual rhythm in the chaos of daily life (and the 7 appliances you swear you needed).

But we didn’t stop there.

We layered in linear LED lighting under the cabinets to do two things:
𝟭. 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁: Light where you prep, not just where it looks good.
𝟮. 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮, 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: That soft wash of light across the textured surface? Chef’s kiss.

𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗽: If your countertop and backsplash don’t talk to each other, your kitchen will always feel disjointed—no matter how nice the tap is.

𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 if you’re planning your own kitchen and want that polished, boutique look—without going overboard.
