The eclectic building is situated in the historic center of Thessaloniki and it was designed at 1927.
The two main facades show the same synthetic organization with the repetition of vertical axes. The main characteristic of the facades is the domination of exterior doors with balconies. Most noteworthy are the decorative details of the highest end of the extreme axes, which bear witness to the influences of the multinational and cosmopolitan character of Thessaloniki.
Furthermore, Art Deco movement is frequently encountered on the building. Therefore, decorative motifs in horizontal frames, decorative keys over the outdoors of the third floor as well as modernist handrails on the balconies, claim this style of architecture.
The project aims to restore the facade, preserving all the morphological and structural elements of the initial design.
Το εκλεκτικιστικό κτήριο βρίσκεται στο ιστορικό κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης και κατασκευάστηκε το 1927.
Οι δύο κύριες όψεις εμφανίζουν την ίδια συνθετική οργάνωση με την επανάληψη κατακόρυφων αξόνων, στις οποίες κυριαρχούν εξωστόθυρες με εξώστες. Σημαντικής σημασίας είναι οι λεπτομέρειες της διακοσμητικής απόληξης των ακραίων αξόνων, στο άνω μέρος τους, που μαρτυρούν επιρροές του πολυεθνικού και κοσμοπολίτικου χαρακτήρα της Θεσσαλονίκης.
Συναντόνται διακοσμητικά μοτίβα σε οριζόντια πλαίσια, καθώς και διακοσμητικά κλειδιά πάνω από τις εξωστόθυρες του 3ου ορόφου και κιγκλιδώματα νεωτεριστικής διάθεσης στους εξώστες που παραπέμπουν στο κίνημα Art Deco.
Η μελέτη έχει ως στόχο της αποκατάσταση της όψης, διατηρώντας όλα τα μορφολογικά και κατασκευαστικά στοιχεία του αρχικού σχεδιασμού.
